Welcome to Osteo4Wycombe

What do Osteopaths treat?

Osteopaths provide care to individuals at every stage of life. They are skilled in evaluating and treating a broad range of conditions, including mechanical back pain, arthritis, sports injuries, rehab, chronic pain, pregnancy-related discomfort, and postural issues resulting from poor work/life ergonomics.

What is osteopathy?

At Osteo4Wycombe, osteopathy is all about you. Every treatment is tailored to your needs, your lifestyle, and your goals. We take the time to listen, understand what’s really going on, and work with you to create a plan that supports your body’s natural ability to heal. Using gentle, effective hands-on techniques and simple, practical advice, we aim to reduce pain, improve movement, and help you feel confident in your body again.

I treat in a ‘hands-on’ way that is non invasive using a variety of techniques.

Services available

Osteopaths use their hands to diagnose the underlying causes of pain and discomfort, delivering treatment through various manual techniques. These may include soft tissue manipulation, joint articulation, high-velocity thrusts (HVT), muscle energy techniques (MET), and visceral manipulation. Each treatment plan is personalised to the patient, following a thorough case history and detailed examination.

Osteopathy

Using Osteopathy I can treat: sports injuries; back pain/sciatica; work-related injuries / poor posture ergonomics; chronic pain; fibromyalgia/ME; headaches; all musculoskeletal issues

Radial Shockwave Therapy

Fast, effective pain relief and long-term recovery — combining advanced radial shockwave technology with hands on osteopathy and tailored rehabilitation exercises.

Kinesiology Taping

Kinesiology taping is a therapeutic technique that involves applying a particular type of elastic tape to the skin.

Medical Acupuncture/Dry Needling

Medical acupuncture is a safe, effective, and scientifically backed therapeutic treatment that involves inserting fine needles into specific points on the body.

Cranial/Sacral Osteopathy

The central concept of Cranial Osteopathy revolves around the movement of cerebrospinal fluid, which flows through the brain and spinal cord.

Loretta Bramley-Brant

“I have been seeing Sarah since November 2023 due to breaking both wrists. I have always been impressed with Sarah’s ability to explain and reassure me regarding proposed treatments. Sarah’s skilled approach and specialist knowledge inspire confidence and have encouraged me to follow exercises to support my rehabilitation. I highly recommend Sarah!”

Martin Bailey

“I have been a patient of Sarah’s for the last four years. She has successfully treated my specific sports injuries, and I also see her for regular preventative maintenance. She has good practical experience and knows the technical stuff. Sarah has an excellent and professional patient manner.”

Sue Tyler

“I broke both my ankles 18 months ago. Without Sarah’s knowledge, expertise and caring nature, I would not be where I am today, walking properly.”
